Something New in Kansas City

Finally, this part of the Midwest experienced a long-awaited Family Retreat that gave families a safe and welcoming place to relax, refresh, and create cherished memories. This mom and her kids reveled in the hayride, an evening campfire with s’mores, archery, a 25-foot rock climbing wall, and a zip line! Families shared that they were overwhelmingly ‘loved on,’ and they couldn’t wait to come back. True, it was only a 3-day mini-Retreat, but it’s the start of something bigger in the future. In fact, planning is already underway for another Retreat in 2017 – and our Joni and Friends Kansas City team needs volunteers!
