Joni and Friends International Disability CenterThe Joni and Friends International Disability Center is excited to announce that it will be joining the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, at 4:30 pm. The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber is one of the largest chambers in the western U.S., with more than 1,000 members, and is a 5-star accredited organization by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

“We are grateful the chamber has seen the benefit to partnering with a non-profit organization such as ours,” said Joni and Friends President Doug Mazza. “We believe this will be a mutually beneficial relationship, as we bring great expertise and resources in the area of serving individuals affected by disability – an area where most businesses would agree there is much room for improvement. And we look forward to the networking opportunities available to us as we form new relationships with other organizations in our community.”

Chamber Ambassadors and local officials will be in attendance on May 24 for the ribbon cutting ceremony, along with Doug Mazza and Joni and Friends founder and CEO Joni Eareckson Tada. The event will be a celebration of this new relationship, and Joni and Friends’ many employees and volunteers will be on hand to enjoy the festivities.
